Brian Guenther and his family reside in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas.  He has spent the last fifteen years in the field of education serving as a teacher and an administrator.  Currently, Dr. Guenther serves as the President at the San Marcos Academy in San Marcos, Texas.  He has a passion for excellence in teaching and challenging students, faculty, and staff to reach their highest potential.  Additionally, he has spent over two decades serving in church ministry in a number of roles; associate pastor, teaching pastor, worship leader, youth pastor, and elder.  Brian and his family have a desire to share the Gospel and live their lives as examples of living on mission.

Brian and his wife Christy were married in December of 1999 after meeting at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.  They began their lives together serving in ministry.  Today, Christy serves as the Executive Director for For His Glory Outreach, a non-profit ministry, partnering with Maison des Enfants de Dieu, an orphanage in Haiti, as they seek to care for and meet the needs of orphans in Haiti. She is also the co-founder of TEEM Haiti, a non-profit seeking to teach, empower, equip, and mentor the people of Haiti.

Together, they have four children; Caleb, Wilson, Faith, and Grace.  Their family has been featured in the Emmy Award-winning news special, Children Left Behind: A KVUE Defenders Investigation.
